Christians Working Together Ministries
Christians Working Together Ministries was born out of a Word from God and experiences with "World Missions Conferences" held in Green lake, Wisconsin, over a period of four years hosted by ABC-USA in Valley Forge, PA. A Baptist Missionary Sending/Receiving Organization!
The Lord exposed Natalie I to a vision of unity at these conferences. We met people from various races, cultures and denominations at these conferences. What stood out to us was how people from all over the world could be fused together in an atmosphere of love and unity of purpose.
There were missionaries from Hong Kong, Bangladesh, China, India, Russia, Puerto Rico, Japan, Africa, Canada, and from various cities in the United States. My wife and I, at that time and more so now, had a charismatic flavor about our lives.
However, that did not affect the unity that was displayed during this season of mission experiences.
In our travels to and from these conferences, we interacted with people that we met in different cities along the way. The spirit of unity that rested upon us as an anointing from the Lord and these experiences was reflected everywhere that we went.
We even had an opportunity to serve in a capacity as volunteers in missions with Calvary Baptist Church in Washington, DC. While in Washington, DC., we had an opportunity to help the homeless community, in making provision for them with resources for shelter, food and clothing.
We were able to function in a way that allowed God's anointing upon our lives to be used without having any schism within the community we worked.
The Word of the Lord along with numerous God ordained experiences in 1996 through 1999 placed a desire in our hearts for World Missions. It was in 1999, that the Lord spoke these words to our hearts: "CHRISTIANS WORKING TOGETHER".
The ministry of "Christians Working Together" began to function as a philanthropic ministry to the homeless community, and then to families and children, in that, we would offer resources to help them through a period of transition in their lives.
A transition was also taking shape in our own lives! The Lord moved us into a Word of Faith type of ministry that poured concepts and principles into our hearts that only added to what we would be able to accomplish for the community that we were called to serve. My wife and I had also stepped into an evangelistic ministry anointing.
Fast forwarding 18 years, to 2011-12, my wife and I are wanting to make sure that the vision that the Lord gave us in 1996 is moving forward and is stronger than ever. The Lord has called Christians Working Together Ministries to World Missions. The way God uses "Christians Working Together" today, is in a philanthropic capacity.
We are called to make financial provision for those that are in need. The primary recipient of these financial resources will be organizations that provide support to families, children and the transient community.
