Covenant Partnership

“For we are labourers together with God…” 1 Corinthians 3:9

I would like to take a few moments to discuss covenant partnership with you, starting with some insight concerning covenant. Then I will share information with you concerning what we are currently doing in ministry.  I will then ask for your partnership in ministry.

A covenant is a solemn agreement between two parties in which there is total commitment between both parties.

The key word in Covenant relationships is Commitment!  As Christians each of us have a God given measure or supply of the anointing to offer to the rest of the body. Our individual measure of supply is distributed through partnership. Through partnership, we are able to partake of one another’s grace. Ephesians 4:16.

There is a difference between the phrase "partake" and the two words "take part". To "take part" is to take part but not all, while to partake is to share fully. God is wanting us to partake of His Graces.

When we as Christians work together as one, we are able to multiply what God wants to accomplish in the earth through each of us. A covenant partnership will require commitment on the part of both parties involved, while enabling us to partake of one another’s graces.

In God’s Plan, The purpose of partnership is about equally distributing the anointing in all the earth to all of God’s people.

No one believer has all of the anointing, but together, we as the body of Christ, do.

God uses Ministry Gifts to equip and perfect saints through revelation. God calls saints and others to connect with these gifts through partnership. In this divine connection the Grace that is operating on His life is released to the partners, as a faith demand is placed on it.  It’s by Faith that we access the Grace!  We can partake of another’s grace through partnership.

Partnership isn’t a marketing strategy designed to raise money, not as it relates to ministry. Partnership is a holy ordinance that was established to equally distribute God’s ability, throughout the body.

Our mindset should be that of Philippians 4:19 – that God supplies our needs. Each partner is thinking this!  Although, God may use partners, He is still our source, and with that in mind, it keeps us from placing pressure on one another.

Some scriptural examples can be found:

1 Samuel 30 -  David and the 600 Amalekites

Phillippians 1:3,5,7

Ephesians 4:11-16 -    The Ministry and it’s partners

Matthew 10:40-42   Partnership has it’s rewards

2 Kings 4:1-16

Partnership should be free from a fleshly pressure, or initiation and efforts by the ministry or minister to get their personal needs met.

When your anointing is joined with another anointing, a new anointing is created that is stronger than the either of the two alone.  Jesus does the joining!  He’s the divine joiner.
We are all connected!

We are to be a part of all of what God is doing than just giving money.

Benefits of Partnership with God:

· We partake of the anointing of the man of God with whom we partner (Philippians 1:7)

· We are blessed materially with a hundred-fold return on our seed sown (Mark 10:29-30)

· God rewards us on the people that get saved in that ministry with whom you partner. (1 Sam 30:24)

· By partnership, we benefit from the prayers and faith of each other.

· You receive a prophet’s reward (Matthew 10: 40-41)
